ON TOUR: BBTBTE 2006, Markthalle, Hamburg, Germany
Bringing Back The Balls To Europe 2006 tour made it’s way to Markthalle, Hamburg, Germany on September 25th 2006. I don’t remember anything of this show and I probably didn’t even see any of it. Our merchandise booth wasn’t anywhere near the stage. So unfortunately I don’t have any photos from the gig itself, but I have a few special ones from the aftershow. During this time Lordi was in the process of getting a new manager. The person they went with was Bill Aucoin, the legendary manager who raised Kiss to fame, helped to make them the biggest rock band on the planet and created a huge merchandise empire around them in the late ‘70s. Now Lordi asked him to be their manager. It was sort of a full circle. Without Bill Aucoin, there wouldn’t probably be Lordi as we know it. The last three photos in this gallery are the first photos ever taken of Bill and the band together. One of them was even featured on the last page of the Mie Oon Lordi book. Sadly, Bill Aucoin passed away four years later in 2010. There’s also some photos from a small aftershow meet & greet and a group shot with the support band The Dogma from Italy.
