Lordi signs a record deal with Atomic Fire Records

It was announced today, that Lordi has signed a new record deal with Atomic Fire Records. The band is leaving AFM Records, the label they’ve been on since the release of Scare Force One in 2014. We also got some confirmed information about the next Lordi era and the upcoming album. In the press release it was said that the first release of this new record deal is the next Lordi album and it is ready and it will be out in spring 2023!

The Germany-based Atomic Fire Records is a fairly new heavy metal focused record company. Launched in 2021 by the Nuclear Blast founder Markus Staiger and his former employees, some of the label’s other bands and artists include Helloween, Opeth, Meshuggah, Sonata Arctica, Amorphis and Michael Schenker Group.
