New single & lyric video for THING IN THE CAGE is out now!

Today Lordi released the second single called Thing in the Cage off their upcoming album Screem Writers Guild. The song is a more classic style Lordi song, with a couple of interesting and unexpected twists. The intro is mostly an eerie throat-singing experiment we’ve definitely never heard from Lordi before and the instrumental parts and verses have even some disco vibes that bring the SuperFlyTrap album from Lordiversity to mind. The chorus is of course quite a traditional and catchy one! There’s also a brand new lyric video for the song which is an animated slideshow of photos that show some behind-the-scenes stuff of making the new costumes and teases and kinda reveals the final product!
