LIVE: February 6th 2008, Dark Floors premiere
We’ve had some brand new galleries these past couple of weeks but now it’s time to continue where we left off digging through the MDH archives. After the Dark Floors press event at Scandic Hotel it was time to move the party and the MDH Dark Floors contest winners to Oulu Energia Areena for the movie world premiere. The 3700-seat arena was sold out and after the movie, the band played a 6-song set which included the songs Would You Love A Monsterman?, Who's Your Daddy?, Beast Loose In Paradise, Devil Is A Loser, Bringing Back The Balls To Rock and Hard Rock Hallelujah. The high energy short show was packed with pyros and effects and especially the stage lighting was eerie and gave a real horror vibe. Perfect for this event. And it was awesome to hear the movie theme song, Beast Loose In Paradise live for the first time ever.
And the Lordi week didn’t end there, because the very next day Mr. Lordi took us to his home town Rovaniemi and of course Lordi’s Rocktaurant. But more on that next time!
